Introducing Londa Swoboda, a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner with a rich and fulfilling career spanning several decades.
Londa’s journey into the world of healthcare commenced in 1975 when she earned her Registered Nurse degree from the esteemed University of Utah. Demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning, she furthered her education and earned a Master’s in Nursing in 1979.
In 1995, Londa reached another milestone in her career by obtaining a Nurse Practitioner certification from the University of Missouri Columbia, solidifying her expertise in providing advanced healthcare services. Always striving for excellence, she expanded her scope in 1998 by obtaining a midwifery license from the Sinclair School of Nursing.
Londa’s professional journey is not just a testament to her academic achievements but also a reflection of her deep connection to the community she serves. She has devoted herself to enhancing the well-being of those around her, forging strong bonds and making a positive impact on the lives of her patients.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Londa finds joy and fulfillment in her personal life. A proud mother of eight children and a doting grandmother to eight grandchildren, she embodies the values of love and family. In her moments of respite, Londa engages in a variety of hobbies, including gardening and quilting, showcasing her creativity and nurturing spirit. Additionally, her love for nature is evident as she tends to her goats, finding solace in the simplicity and beauty of rural living.
Londa Swoboda’s story is one of passion, dedication, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of others. Londa says it has been a pleasure serving her community over the past 20 years. Her multifaceted life, blending a thriving career with a rich family life and enjoyable hobbies, paints a picture of a well-rounded individual who brings warmth and expertise to the field of healthcare.
Lisa Armbruster MD is a Board Certified Family Physician who sees and has experience with patients of all ages.
She joined Healthy Choice 4 years ago as a Medical Director, because she loves the practice and working with Londa Swoboda, NP, whom she admires for her experience and knowledge.
Dr Armbruster graduated with honors from the University of Hawaii, John A Burns, School of Medicine. She did her Family Medicine internship in Los Angeles, California, then completed Family Medicine residency in Modesto, California.
After completing residency, she practiced for five years in San Diego County, where she met and married her husband David, who is a native St Louisan. They moved to Saint Louis in 2003 with their toddler son, John, and she has worked in the Saint Louis area since that time.
Dr. Armbruster has experience in a number of patient care settings, including outpatient primary care, hospital work, rural health, skilled nursing facility, and urgent care. She enjoys reading and is an amateur historian, with a special interest in US history. She enjoys drawing, writing, swimming, hiking, and biking. If she had to choose another career, she would be a teacher. Dr. Armbruster enjoys interacting with people and establishing strong relationships with them.
