Linda Riechers, LPN
In her year and a half at Healthy Choice, Linda has proven indispensable, starting as an office nurse, and contributing to compliance regulations. Her expertise extends beyond healthcare, encompassing gardening, decorating, and cake decorating. Linda’s dedication feeds both body and soul, crucial to the office’s operation and growth. Despite being new to rural health clinics, she learns rules and regulations daily, supported by a friendship with Londa spanning over 30 years. Linda’s commitment to patients and her incredible staff ensures a thriving workplace, while her passions hint at hidden talents, including a desire for event planning.
Bernice Oliver, LPN
Bernice, known as “The Beast,” has been an integral part of this place for 3 years. Despite her intimidating demeanor, she possesses a heart of gold and a dedication to nursing. She diligently prepares patients for their providers by taking vital signs, weight, and height. Afterward, she conducts thorough assessments to inform Londa or Dr. A of the patient’s condition before they enter the room. Bernice ensures any necessary tests are conducted promptly, ensuring comprehensive care. In short, Bernice’s commitment to her patients is truly remarkable.
Brenda Moss
Brenda is our newest employee here at Health Choice. Brenda, a patient of Londa’s seamlessly transitioned into here , becoming Linda’s assistant. She is eager and excited to learn and contribute. Her rapid learning pace and enthusiasm make her a joy to work with. In her spare time she is a wife and mother of 4 girls and grandchildren, awaiting on 2 more soon to arrive. She and her husband race cars and have a beautiful home with property that has a Wedding/Party venue with much more. Brenda loves to find a good bargain and will soon be opening her own little gift / antique cozy corner.
Tiffaney Cooper
Tiffaney, our Vaccine Specialist, has been an invaluable part of our team for 3 years. Beyond her roles as a Phlebotomist and Medical Assistant, she excels in maintaining meticulous records and managing our vaccine inventory. Her knack for organization extends to rearranging the lab, keeping colleagues on their toes. With a playful spirit, she occasionally jokes about “borrowing” unused items from desks. Outside of work, Tiffaney shares her home with her wife and a menagerie of pets, including two Great Danes and a bearded dragon. Through it all, her infectious smile remains a constant presence.
Becky Fuerst
Becky, our Executive Receptionist, joined us a year ago, seamlessly stepping in when our previous receptionist abruptly left. Despite her background as a school bus driver, Becky excels at managing the front desk with no formal training. She ensures a smooth check-in process for all, though she’s relentless in tracking down missing insurance information or copays. Becky’s adaptability and dedication make her an invaluable asset to our team, and I’m grateful we hired her.
Sami Crider
Sami, a valued member for a year, assists Becky at the Receptionist desk when needed but primarily serves as our Referral Extraordinaire, a demanding role. Handling referrals from Londa or Dr. Armbruster, she meticulously completes paperwork, contacts receiving offices, and arranges appointments. Sami tirelessly pursues insurance authorizations and keeps patients informed throughout the process. Despite the time-consuming nature of her tasks, including managing medication prior authorizations, Sami ensures thorough care. However, delays in the referral process often result due to her busy workload.
Pauline Marteen
For 20 years, Londa has entrusted Pauline with cleaning her offices, establishing a lasting bond. Pauline, a delightful presence, ensures our workplace is immaculate. Though she may remain unseen by many, her infectious laughter resonates throughout the office, bringing joy to all. Pauline’s dedication and warm spirit have made her an indispensable part of the Healthy Choice family, cherished by all who know her.
